Review: The Honeymoon Homicides Is “Highly Recommended” for Cozy Mystery Fans
I love well-written cozy mysteries and this one did not disappoint. This is the first book I’ve read in the series, and it reads fine as a standalone. The author does an excellent job of world building. I’ve not spent a lot of time on the East Coast yet felt like I was walking beside the characters. The characters are also well developed, and I loved their eccentricities, they brought the characters alive which gave the book depth. I also feel like the dynamics between the characters are believable.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and stayed up way past my bedtime reading. There are several red herrings thrown in intended to throw the reader off. The series is wrapped up well and I’m sad this may be the final installment. However, I will be circling back to read the rest of the books in the series.
I highly recommend this book to all cozy book fans!
